The Plaza, Fenton

The Plaza opened on 26th September 1910 as Barber’s Picture Palace. Seating 1000, it had a stage and dressing rooms aswell, for acts between the pictures. Refurbished in 1931 it became the Plaza. Passing through many hands, it finally closed in 1982. It reopened shortly after as a snooker club, which it has remained ever since.
