I recently made some lab glassware water repellent, and hit the stumbling block of the chemicals directions not being online. Now that I have found them, here are the directions for using Repelcote VS.
1) Wash the glassware with detergent and rinse well with deionised water. Leave to dry.
2) Apply Repelcote (VS) to dry Glassware, ensuring that the whole surface is wetted
3) After 5-10 minutes remove excess by draining or wiping with a tissue
4) Wash with alcohol or a 2% Neutracon solution followed by a
Water rinse to remove surplus residues. Wipe down with a tissue
